Our next ADDE Annual General Meeting (AGM) is taking place in Madrid next week, from 11 to 13 May. In the run-up to this board meeting, I would like to use this foreword to address some recent developments at EU-level that may be of interest to you.

Assessing health technology: EU Commission to boost cooperation among member states
BRUSSELS, Belgium: Health Technology Assessment (HTA) is an independent, objective and evidence-based system used to measure the added value of new health technologies. Joint assessments at EU-level covering clinical, but in some cases also social, economic and ethical issues, have been ongoing since the 1980s.
